An Homage to Patsy Cline the Darling of Psychological Suspense

No one knew,

who chose to play

songs C-1 to C-4:

Ms. Cline's best-known hits:

C-1:  Crazy,

C-2:  I Fall to Pieces,

C-3:  Walking After Midnight, and

C-4:  Sweet Dreams

C-1

was playing,

when the man,

who left his beer and burger,

Half-finished at the bar,

of the sketchy roadhouse,

to go to the men's room.

He thought

not washing his hands,

made him a wild-man,

but little does he know,

that the little pill slipped

into his drink,

would leave him,

fighting for his life.

C-2

Patsy crooned

a bluesy tune,

when the single white female

walked out the door

in the light of the moon,

to her car in the darkest part of the lot,

Naive was she, for she should have known,

that monsters really do,

come out in the full moon.

C-3

Cline continued

with a more upbeat tune,

when the cowboy,

with the Stetson,

stopped his caddy

for a hitcher.

It didn't matter where

the hiker wanted to go,

he would never see,

another morning.

C-4

Sweet Dreams

describes the sleep of the man,

who can cleanse, not only the blood from his hands,

but also from his heart,

and his soul.
