Remembering the Day the Music Died, a Day Late

I missed my opportunity to write about this yesterday, but I still wanted to mention it as a music fan and as a local historian.

I was not even born, when the crash at Clear Lake occurred in 1959, but the music of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and "the Big Bopper" J.P. Richardson still inspires rock 'n' roll fans today.

Toronto's Q-107 shared this screen capture on Facebook.  Hat tip to them for reminding all of us of this historic event.
